About Katrina

I am an experienced educator with dual graduate degrees and a California teaching credential in multiple subjects and mild to moderate special education. I have been a certified teacher for five years and bring over 10 years of experience working with individuals with special needs, focusing on both behavior and academic support. I have worked with students ages 5-22 in a variety of roles, including kindergarten, fifth grade, and high school teacher, behavior support staff, and special education teacher in both K-2 and 4th-5th settings. In addition to teaching, I have extensive tutoring experience. I've privately supported many families through after-school tutoring and behavioral needs as well as worked with Huntington Learning Center, and provided individualized help for students as needed. I am committed to creating supportive, inclusive environments and helping every student build confidence and reach their full potential.
