About Sydney

I'd describe my personality as energetic and friendly. I like working with kids because they look at the world with new eyes and they make mundane situations or ideas fun. I'm looking for a job while I'm taking classes for college. Ive been working with kids most of my life. I started babysitting when I was 14 after I took a babysitting class. Since then I worked at Katie's kids day care for two years and I've been teaching Sunday school to pre-k through first grade for about five years now. The longest I've babysat for was 6 months for an infant and a summer for a 5-year-old boy. In my spare time, I like to read, hang out with my friends, do crafts, and swim. One thing you should know about me is I'm a combat medic in the Army National Guard. Being a combat medic I am a certified EMT and have CPR and BLS training. My skills include creativity, socializing, and understand the balance between rules and fun. I am excited for new opportunities and I hope you consider me!
