I have 7 years of paid caregiver experience with Senior Care companies and private pay, but also cared for my mother in 1998 who had cancer, and then my father as live in care from 2011 to 2014 who had diabetes, dementia, and a stroke. I have experience with Activities for Daily Living including diabetic diets, meal planning/preparation, shopping, transportation and errands, medication management, bathing/dressing, stroke exercises, passive range of motion exercises, as well as mental enrichment activities. I have extensive diabetes experience, dementia care, wound care, Foley catheter and nephrostomy tube care.
