I took care of my grandmother, for 7 years, from, 1996-2002. She had dementia, diabetes, and was wheelchair bound, after hip surgery. I assisted her in bathing, dressing, changing diapers, insulin and medication, house cleaning, took her to medical appointments, and was her personal driver. In 1198, I was an evening social coordinator, for evening activities, for people with Alzheimer's disease. I obtained a degree, in Therapeutic Recreation, in May 2016. My passion in life is to help elderly adults, as well as people with disabilities, lead a better life.
