About Stella

I'm a professional opera singer living in Philadelphia and working at the Academy of Vocal Arts, with extensive nannying and childcare experience from infants through teens. I've helped children with homework, reading and writing, school projects, early-learning milestones, and music practice. I tutor English, social studies, and basic Spanish using students' school materials and assignments. I also have extensive experience supporting children with additional needs. I was a respite worker for a 7-year-old boy with non-verbal autism and visual impairment, working with him on communication, potty training, dressing, bathing, and daily tasks. I found this work incredibly rewarding and developed a patient, creative, individualized approach. I hold a Master of Music in Vocal Performance, with degrees from Boston University and the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. I offer private voice lessons, acting/theatre coaching, music theory and history tutoring, and practice coaching.
