About Allison

I graduated 2021 and I currently work as a chemist in an analytical lab running samples and processing data. I have a B. S. degree in chemistry with a minor in Spanish from Wake Forest University. While attending college, I worked in the chemistry center tutoring other Wake students in general and organic chemistry. Through this experience, I was coached on good tutoring practices, how to engage with students, and how to model good study habits. I have 10+ years of experience in child care as well and have been tutoring for about 4 years. I especially love tutoring math and science as that is my background. My goal as a tutor is to encourage students to feel confident in being successful in their class and mastering the material.
