About Stefannie
I was a top-tier student and am available to tutor english, math, and the sciences up to high school level. (I would need to brush up on AP level courses.) I received a perfect score on the SAT, earned a full scholarship to college, and graduated with the top GPA in my major. I love teaching and spent years as a teacher/tutor with The Princeton Review in Northeast Ohio. I enjoy the art of explaining concepts and challenges in a way that is personalized. I once had a GRE student who was terrified of the Math section, but l knew that she loved to bake. Using the language of baking, after one session with me, her practice test score tripled. I currently have tween and teenage sons, so I am well-equipped to handle "attitudes" with humor and empathy. Above all, I think that learning is a matter of leaning into existing talents and knowledge, and building upon those foundations for life-long understanding rather than short-term test scores.
