About Krista

I have seven years of experience teaching/tutoring, and I have enjoyed helping students reach their academic goals. I have a high school degree and provide tutoring in a variety of subjects, including math, English, science, test preparation, special education, study skills, and history. I work with elementary and middle school students. I believe every student has unique potential and can achieve their goals with personalized support. I vary my teaching strategies and seek feedback to adapt to each student's individual learning style. I also celebrate small successes to keep students motivated. Open communication builds trust and a collaborative environment. The most rewarding aspect of being a tutor is seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills. I have a car and am comfortable with pets, so I can travel to your home, the teacher's home, a center, a library, or a coffee shop. I would love to help your student succeed!
