My hours are flexible. I taught math and science at the middle school level for one year before realizing I could make a bigger impact by tutoring. Before that I was a building substitute for K-5, student taught at schools of various areas during my college experience, and have been tutoring since high school. I love tutoring because it allows me to provide personalized instruction to my students that I couldn't in the classroom. It also helps students build their confidence in areas where they may need strength or are already ready to advance compared to what is currently being taught. I've always enjoyed tutoring/teaching because I've always enjoyed helping others to see the skill that their learning can be fun and useful.
