About Sophia

Childcare has always been natural and fun for me. I have been babysitting since I was 13 for close friends and family, and I studied some Early Childhood Education at MCTC, although my associates degree is Liberal Arts. For 4 years I worked as a teachers assistant, and eventually became a lead teacher, at a Montessori where I learned valuable child care skills and engaging curriculum. Infants, toddlers and preschool are such amazing ages and I have the skills and loving nature to provide quality childcare filled with memorable activities and developmentally mindful engagement. I am CPR certified, and have taken classes on infant safety.
