About Alexis

As a natural caregiver, I've always been drawn to nurturing & supporting children's growth. With years of experience caring for children of all ages-from infants to preteens-I've worked as a babysitter, nanny, preschool teacher, and afterschool teacher for K-6th graders. My passion for childcare stems from my belief that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment to thrive. I consider myself a patient, calm, and friendly person which helps me connect with children easily. I value open, honest communication with parents to keep them informed of their child's day and any concerns. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and maintaining a structured environment while still allowing for creativity & fun. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, & educational games that stimulate their minds. My educational background includes some college-level coursework in Early Childhood Education and Early Child Development.
