About Sofia

Hello! My name is Sofia, I am a recent college graduate looking for part-time work as a nanny. I have over three years working and volunteering in elementary classrooms, working primarily with Transitional-Kindergarten and Kindergarten ages, helping with reading, math and literacy. I also have four years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility as a teacher's assistant, in both younger toddler and older toddler classrooms. My teaching experience has taught me how to create engaging age appropriate activities, maintain structure and safety, and adapt to each child's individual needs and personality. I'm also comfortable managing multiple responsibilities while remaining calm, organized, and supportive. I am also able to do perform light housekeeping tasks, including caring for pets.
