I have worked with special needs at Wilton Development Center and CWI, as well as working at the GF Hospital and Eden Park Nursing home with the elderly. About 12 years ago, I decided to try something different and started working in the corporate world at Time Warner Cable and found that the appreciation and compassion are nowhere to be found, and it's something that I have been missing as far as being able to give the care, loyalty, compassion, dedication, honesty and get the same respect in return. I left that 12 yr career in Sept of 2011, and have since gone through my second temp agency at 3 month terms each, and realize that I am not going to get that respect from the corporate world. I would very much love to get back to caring for people who need and appreciate what I have to offer. I will work Monday through Fridays anywhere between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. I also have many years of child care. I started babysitting when I was 12 and I had 2 daughters of my own and a stepdaughter that lived with me since she was 7 yrs old; all who have grown and are out on their own. I have scheduled appointments for 4/12 and 4/19 for first aid/CPR/AED certifications.
