About Shelby

Hi! My name is Shelby and I'm a creative, responsible and compassionate caregiver with a background in film, education and customer service. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Moving Image & Photography from Bennington College. Most recently, I taught filmmaking classes to children through Incrediflix, where I led hands-on lessons in stop motion, live action filmmaking and storytelling. Helping kids bring their imaginations to life through creative projects was one of the most rewarding experiences I've had, and I bring that same passion and patience to everything I do. Whether it's helping with homework, organizing daily routines, or coming up with fun engaging activities. In my free time, I love songwriting, running, painting and gardening; activities I'm always happy to share or incorporate into time with kids. I'm also comfortable with pets, technology, and creating structured yet playful routines that support children's growth and creativity.
