About Mark

Hey, I'm Mark! I'm a filmmaker and educator who's spent the past few years teaching and mentoring students through creative projects. I currently teach documentary filmmaking to high schoolers at the Educational Video Center in NYC, where I help kids express themselves through art, storytelling, and collaboration. I've spent a lot of time around kids, both through my work and in my own family. I've been helping care for my nephews for years, from early elementary age through pre-teens, and I'm comfortable jumping into whatever the day needs, keeping kids occupied, helping with schoolwork, or just making sure things feel steady and calm. I'm someone who shows up consistently, pays attention, and treats kids with respect.
