About Shayna

Hello! I am an experienced nanny with an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree at San Francisco State University, where I am studying Child and Adolescent Development with a concentration in Community, Health and Social Services. I spent my freshman year of college working at a Child Study Center, where I was trained by teachers with decades of experience. I have experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in both professional and home settings. I also have experience working with elementary and middle school aged children as a nanny. During Covid, I worked as a live-in nanny for an infant/toddler in Austin, TX. After returning to the East Bay, I continued caring for children from infancy through middle school. I am trained in anti-bias education, age appropriate curriculum planning, and supporting children's social emotional development. I am looking for a nannying job while I am pursuing my bachelors degree.
