About Shantu

I am a certified teacher with a graduate degree and certifications in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education and English as a Second Language (ESL). I am also Orton-Gillingham (OG) trained and am currently pursuing my Reading Specialist certification. My training allows me to provide structured, explicit, multisensory, and evidence-based literacy instruction tailored to each student's individual needs. I incorporate visual supports, hands-on activities, and interactive learning experiences to help students build strong foundational reading skills. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students gain confidence and develop a love of learning.
