About Rachel

I'm an experienced educator with nine years in Boston Public Schools, trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach-widely recognized as the gold standard for students with decoding challenges and dyslexia. For the past three years, I've provided targeted reading intervention using this multisensory, research-based program, with access to all materials and fluency games. My students have made significant progress through personalized instruction tailored to their specific needs. I begin with an assessment to identify areas of growth and create a custom plan to support measurable reading success. In addition to Orton-Gillingham instruction, I also offer support focused on reading comprehension using high-quality materials. I'm also available for childcare based on availability.
