About Tyra

Hi! My name is Tyra and I'm a nurturing, reliable childcare provider with over two years of experience in the ABA field supporting children's social, emotional, and behavioral development. I grew up in a close-knit family and have always been around babies and young children, which helped develop my natural patience and caregiving instincts. My education in adolescent development strengthened my understanding of what children need to grow and thrive, with a focus on cognitive and emotional development. I also completed an internship at an elementary school where I worked with students in an after-school program, helping with activities, supervision, and learning support. I hold EEC Certification and Safety-Care Certification, which means I'm trained in child safety, behavior support, and creating a secure, positive environment. I'm dependable, attentive, and love helping children feel safe, confident, and engaged.
