About Shantel

Bringing joy and nurturing care to children is my passion. For the past three years, I have dedicated myself to providing engaging and supportive childcare. I foster growth and development through creative activities, educational games, and active outdoor play. I am currently an assistant chess teacher for afterschool classes and I work twice a week. I have more experience in childcare in school settings rather than much babysitting, but I am eager to learn more and grow in this field. I am comfortable caring for one or two children at a time, as this is my current capacity. I communicate with parents through daily reports, verbal updates, and texts. I follow the parent's lead when enforcing household rules. I am happy to assist with carpooling, light housekeeping, and travel.
