Hello! My name is Shannon, and I've been working with children for many years, and my most recent experiences were with a family with a toddler, and a family with an 18-month-old, a 7-year-old, and a 9-year-old. During summers in high school and college, I worked as a Nature Camp Counselor for children ages 3-11. I also worked as an Environmental Educator at a non-profit and at a nature preserve for several years. I love connecting children with nature, as well as crafts and play. I am currently in graduate school for Marriage & Family Therapy, including coursework on working with children and adolescents.

We were so lucky to have Shannon as the caregiver of our family. She is incredibly kind and an overall calming grounding presence in our home. She treats our children with respect and is always willing to take an extra moment to help them through difficult situations or feelings. Shannon is a wealth of knowledge about so many subjects and is engaging with the kids while being patient and answering all of their questions. She is very observant and can tell what is needed without being asked. She is also consistent and always on time. I recommend her with no reservations!
