Hi, I am a loving mother of two. Very caring with a great sense of humor. Very family oriented. I am a past employee for Newark Public Schools as well as a Direct Support Professional for OurHouse INC. Both positions allowed me to work with special need beings. A combination of 17 years experience in both fields Fortunately as a Direct Support employee I had CPR training. Working with children from elementary age up to young adulthood. With and without special needs. Catering is also a profession I've mastered on my own time. So cooking is a specialty I've attained too. Coming from a big family cooking was something I learned along the way and perfected. Before my departure as a DSP for OHI I was shift leader. I was in charge of overseeing medication intake, laundry, dressing clients, and preparing meals amongst other responsibilities. Being a mom of 2 teaches patience. Very much needed when caring for others.
