About Shalini

My teaching foundation was built through Teach For America, one of the most rigorous educator training programs in the country. I completed two-month intensive training and passed the Praxis exam in under a month. Teaching in an under-resourced New Jersey school showed me every child learns differently and can grow when someone meets them where they are. Working individually with each student, I witnessed consistent academic progress time after time. I use visual aids, hands-on activities, and conversation to make concepts truly stick. When something is hard I break it down, connect it to what the student cares about, and rebuild confidence one small win at a time.
