About Shafia
Experience: 10 yrs
Hello! I have been a tutor, nanny, housekeeper, babysitter, personal assistant, and have helped with errands/ meal prep for over 15 years; at schools, libraries, and homes. My very first student, went on to attend SOTA in San Francisco. I have helped students prepare for finals and essays. I have helped adult learners of English, have proofread essays, and much more. I was an AVID tutor for SFUSD and a volunteer academic coach. I've worked on multiple nonprofits and now I run Hakuna Matata Vibes. I have a social impact gift shop offering stationery, coloring books, collage card workshops, business branding services, and future earth-conscious eco-lodges, working to inspire action for wildlife conservation, environmental justice, and human rights.
Most recent review
Shafia is a great math tutor. We are working on improving my 5th grader son's test scores and only after 2 sessions we have already seen improvement. Shafia does a great job explaining concepts step by step and is patient.
