About MARLYN

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching and tutoring approach. I hold a B. A. in Spanish Studies and am currently continuing my education with the goal of becoming a credentialed teacher. Education has always been an important part of my career, and I enjoy helping students grow both academically and personally. My experience began in college, where I provided one-on-one tutoring and Spanish instruction, helping students strengthen their language skills and confidence. Since then, I have gained experience working with students through school volunteer programs, after-school programs, substitute teaching, and paraprofessional support. TK-12th grade These roles have given me the opportunity to work with students across different grade levels, learning styles, and academic needs. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach using clear explanations, visuals, interactive activities, and step-by-step support.
