Hello! I have been working with higher needs children for over a decade. My favorite classes in high school were spending my time with the children with higher needs. I have a 31-year-old non-verbal, epileptic sister, and I have an almost 7-year-old level 1 autistic kiddo of my own! In my childhood I was surrounded by hospice care. I grew up in the PNW where Death With Dignity is used for terminally ill patients. I remember holding the hands of those who had no one. I have been surrounded by caregivers my entire life.
