About Saul Scott

Hi my name is Scott and I am a native New Yorker passionate about writing and the humanities. I received my Bachelors at Columbia College in New York where I majored in English with a focus on modernist and romantic poetry, and where I minored in philosophy focusing on German Idealism. I received my Masters from NYU Journalism's Critical Reporting and Criticism program where I honed my writing, editing and reporting skills. While an upper classman at Columbia, I was a core curriculum and writing tutor, helping students write craft essays on the arts and humanities. In my free time I like to hike and collect records. I look forward to helping you or your child discover an inner writer and critic through the craft of essay writing!
