About Lisa

I am an experienced tutor with a strong background in English Language Arts, reading comprehension, writing, and social studies. I have worked with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels, helping them build confidence in reading, strengthen writing skills, and improve overall academic organization. My tutoring focuses on ELA fundamentals such as reading comprehension, vocabulary development, essay writing, grammar, and critical thinking. I also support students in social studies and related humanities subjects, as well as light science support where reading comprehension, note-taking, and concept understanding are key. I help students develop effective study habits, improve written expression, and approach assignments with greater clarity and structure.
