After years of providing child care, I'm now looking to move into senior adult care. Within the past 2 years I have lost my father and a dear elderly friend who both needed extra care and attention as they transitioned from being independent to relying completely on others for their daily needs and care. I've seen how valuable that extra help and attention is for senior adults and am grateful that I was able to provide some of that assistance and care to my friend as well as spend time by his side when he was alone and needed someone there.
