About Roxanne

For five years, I cared for 70 + residents in a living facility for seniors (ages 60 - over 100) through service coordination and promotion of small group activities and community events. Residents enjoyed relating with me individually, or as couples when possible. Residents appreciated my communication to the larger community through verbal presentations. I believe they most appreciated my affability, ability to keep matters confidential, sense of humor, genuine concern and integrity. I offered my musical ability for some of the regular events. I much enjoyed working with this population. Many of the residents were over 80, and I found their multiple life stories both interesting and educational! Prior to the above, I also served as a companion and light housekeeper for an older adult female in her home during the day. This included companionship, meal preparation, occasional shower assistance and some light gardening.
