Hi there! I am a third year teacher in Montgomery County for English Language Development. I began my career working with children over 10 years ago by participating in the child development program in my high school. I obtained my 90 hour childcare certification from that program, and went on to complete a bachelors degree in social work. I changed careers after working for the department of juvenile services for 2 years, and obtained my teaching certification in reading and ESOL. I am now working on my masters in special education with a focus on multilingual learners. With that being said... Working with children is my life! Everyday I find a new reason on why I love my career and continue to find ways to grow as an educator and person. I'd describe my personality as patient, kind, and flexible. In my spare time, I like to exercise, read, and watch documentaries.
