About Sarah

Sarah is an exceptional caregiver that would be a wonderful support to any family that's lucky enough to get her! We were connected to Sarah at a time in our lives when we needed a little extra help at home with two working parents (one who travels frequently) and a tween who was not quite ready to be at home alone but eager to be more independent. Sarah is the perfect mixture of responsive and engaging with our tween, while also giving her space to do things independently. Sarah always comes prepared with a few ideas of things to do together, encourages our daughter to take the lead on ideas for how to spend their time together, and always shows that she cares about the things our daughter cares about. She is not afraid to exercise boundaries with our daughter and does so in a humorous, kind and thoughtful way that is very age appropriate. One of the things we appreciate most about Sarah is that she cares about the whole family - she is always attentive to ways she can be helpful in our household (eg - prepping for dinner) and makes both big and small gestures that helps to reassure us that we need not worry at all when she is in charge (eg - sending photos when out on an adventure, communicating when they are enroute). She is responsive, timely, extremely responsible, personable and so easy to talk to! In fact, we love Sarah so much, we once invited her to travel with us when a caregiver was needed and it worked out perfectly! We would do so in a heartbeat again. To this day, she is still our daughter's favorite babysitter (hands down), and our daughter still always asks for Sarah if one is needed. She is simply amazing!
