About Sarah

I worked as a live-in caregiver/medical assistant to an elderly gentleman with dementia for 5 years. This included house management (cleaning/organizing/shopping), facilitating social and family events, transportation to and from all medical and personal appointments. I was also responsible for personal hygiene, health and fitness and all meal preparations for him. We were companions and we became friends. What I did best was bringing meaning, fun and great conversation. Every day I cared for him with dignity and respect. I am passionate about people, their well being and bringing a positive light to any person or situation.
