I'd describe my personality as caring attentive loving I like caring for seniors because it brings me joy to good care for others. We should all be so lucky and deserve to be cared for. I'm looking for a job that feeds my soul and provides comfortable living. I started caring for seniors as a child, Grandma thought it would be a good field of work for me then and it keeps finding me now. 2019 I moved to Colorado to take care of my grandmother, I was her primary live in caregiver for 3 years. Returning to seattle, I worked with Denis who had Lewi body dementia and now caring for Margaret who has had several strokes and is in a wheelchair, requiring assistance with all things, transferring her, assisting with personal care, dressing, feeding, medication, etc. I like to cook, garden, dance and explore nature. One thing you should know about me is I am all in, no halfway work. My skills include compassionate hands on care and companionship. Touch and comfort are my love languages.
