Hi, my name is Sarah! I am currently a bioengineering PhD student at Harvard University. Prior to starting at Harvard, I received my MS in biomedical engineering from Brown University in 2021. Additionally, I received my BS in computational neuroscience with a mathematics minor from Fordham University in 2019. I am reliable, hard-working and passionate about STEM! I have experience in tutoring SAT math as well as high school (algebra, geometry, trigonometry and pre-calculus) and college (calculus I and II, and linear algebra) level math. I am great at simplifying explanations of complex math processes, making practice questions on the spot and creating "info sheets" containing explanations of topics that my student needs help with. Additional areas of expertise include neuroscience and computer science/programming (MATLAB and Python). Tutoring students in STEM topics is a passion of mine and I would love to help your child excel in their education!

My daughter had been struggling with Trigonometry for months which was adversely effecting her GPA. We found Sarah on Care.com and in a short 2 months my daughter's test scores went from failing to over 90% consistently. My daughter has greatly benefited from Sarah's guidance.
