About Sarah

I earned a Masters of Education with an emphasis on Montessori educational theory and practice. I do not use any substances, I have clean driving record, & have CPR cert. I worked 5 years with ages 6-9 in the classroom. I have been nannying for two years, I just gave birth 3 months ago to my baby girl Risa, who will be my new companion at work. My philosophy is a mix of Montessori theory and attachment parenting. I am adaptable to and respectful of what your needs and parenting philosophy may be. Families I have worked with have described me as reliable, trustworthy, conscientious, intentional with communication, flexible, & professional. I am knowledgeable in child development, willing to see every situation as a learning experience and willing to be taught by the families I work with. I am playful, yet appropriately firm in my leadership of children. I strive to cultivate a culture of appreciation in my relationships, and I find that I enjoy becoming friends with my clients.
