About Samiya

My name is Samiya and I am reaching out about the possibility of working with a new family. I am a recent college grad and worked for a neurobiology lab during my last year of college. I've spent multiple summers working at Ultimate Frisbee camps teaching young people from the ages of seven to 15. I've also nannied young children throughout my college career and those ages ranged from four to 10. In doing this work I want to center the young people I'm around and to cultivate safe spaces. I want to encourage curiosity and mutual learning and to ultimately build important relationships with young people.
