About Karley

I'd describe my personality, particularly with children, as attentive, calm and centered, and engaging. Generally, I've been described as being personable, outgoing, and positive to work with. I love working with children. I started doing childcare back in October of 2022 when I got hired as a student staff at the Evergreen State College childcare center. This center is renowned for the way it does childcare and subsequently, the way it trains its student staff. I've worked with children as young as a few months old, all the way until about the age of 5 years. I've spent most of my time at this center working with toddler aged children. I have completed the STARS Merit certification training, and am also starting at Olympic College in the Fall working towards a ATA degree is Early Childhood Education. Working with children is incredibly rewarding and overall light-hearted. It has been such a source of light and joy in my life the past few years.
