About Sami

I'm looking for a job that inspires me to continue my own learning. It's easy to feel stagnant in other professions, but working with students truly exceeds my expectations and blows me out of the water. It's beautiful to see the progress that my students make, and knowing that I was just a small fraction of that growth in another human being allows me to be proud. I began getting tutored early on in high school after failing a chemistry class. I couldn't comprehend all of the letters and equations! My parents got me a tutor who was a teacher from Marshall High School and he inspired me to become a teacher like himself. I, myself, began tutoring my way through college for some extra cash. During the summers, I tutor many of my own students and have seen tremendous growth in our one-to-one sessions (: In my spare time, I like to relax with my dog and read some books! We're guilty of being fans of reality tv shows.
