About Erin

Hi! I am a current elementary school teacher with 7 years of experience in the 1st grade classroom! My favorite part of teaching is seeing learning click! It's like magic and brings me so much joy! This upcoming school year, I am available to help with language arts (reading, writing and phonics skills) and math tutoring for K-2 students. I've worked with a variety of elementary school ages K-5 but prefer to provide support for primary grade students since that is my area of expertise! I know that learning can be difficult for some students in the classroom setting but I strongly believe that students can flourish when they can receive extra 1 on 1 support. I am patient, encouraging, and do my very best to help students find their confidence. When a student believes in themselves, it creates a strong foundation for them to feel capable and motivated to try hard things! I'm available to tutor in the evenings after 5 p.m. I have my own car.
