About Samantha

I am a UC Berkeley student pursuing a degree in Sociology with the goal of becoming a social worker. I currently work at the YMCA daycare center, caring for 80-90 children daily, and am seeking more one-on-one opportunities that better fit my school schedule. I have over four years of experience working with children ages 4-11, and I bring patience, creativity, and strong communication skills to my work. I have completed coursework in early childhood development, am a Certified Teacher, and am trained in CPR and First Aid. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and puzzles, and I am comfortable caring for up to two children as well as assisting with meal preparation. I communicate effectively with parents, respect household rules, and speak both English and Spanish. Supporting children's growth and well-being brings me joy, and I look forward to sharing my skills and enthusiasm with your family.
