About Alyssa-marie

I recently graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in early childhood education. I have worked in preschools as a teacher all over the Bay Area. I also have experience nannying for families. Working with families and children isn't just a job for me. It's become one of the most important things in my life. Working with young children has to be a work of heart backed up with research and education. I feel that children should take the drivers seat in their play and their learning while the supporting adults in their lives are there to guide and lead when necessary. I know that we all can learn so much from them if we give them the platform to be who they are. It is my role as a child care provider with the families to cultivate an environment that is safe and stimulating for these children.
