About Sadie

I've worked at a summer camp for many years, working entirely outside in a creative and active environment supervising ~20 kids ages 7-15, many of whom are neurodivergent. I prioritize centering creative, screen-free activities, being able adapt on my feet to any situations, good or bad, and stay positive, responsible, and caring throughout, and finding a way to connect with each child I work with, especially those who may be shy or have trouble connecting with others. I'd describe my personality as creative, smart, and caring. I like to draw, paint, bake and cook, and be active. I captain my college's Ultimate Frisbee team, and have played sports my whole life. I love building a safe and welcoming team environment and being active outdoors. I've always been an artist and love playing with a teaching different mediums, from drawing and painting to crochet to crafting with recycled materials. I love learning new skills through trial and error, especially with the kids I work with!
