About Ryan

My career in school systems best suit this field. I started as a 1:1 Aide in public schools where I worked closely with kids with disabilities (learning, behavioral, etc.) assisting with classwork and more. Shortly after, I worked as a Teacher's Assistant where I taught & worked closely with children who have learning/behavioral disabilities. After that, I was a Program Assistant at a private school designed for individuals on the autism spectrum where I oversaw & worked closely with five 5th graders helping them in the same and other various ways. I'm great/effective at creating a safe space/environment, creating a fun environment, helping with focus, redirecting, positive reinforcement, making sure the subject/matter at hand is understood, making sure the tasks are complete, handling high tension situations and de-escalating. I'm also comfortable with assisting with the bathroom if need be.
