About Roxanne

Hello! I am a certified teacher, licensed in Virginia. My undergraduate degree is in Government and International Politics with a minor in Spanish. I later obtained my masters degree in education with a concentration in ESL PK-12. I have taught in Loudoun County Public Schools for 6 years primarily teaching 1st and 2nd grade. My strength is in English literacy for all grades and ages (K-12). My main experience has been providing intervention groups for struggling readers and helping students to read on grade level or higher. Additionally I have provided small group interventions for math, science, and content areas. I am an intermediate Spanish speaker and can provide tutoring in this area as well. I love teaching and connecting to my students:)
