About Amanda

Hi! I'm Amanda -- a Maryland-certified elementary educator, current 2nd grade lead teacher, and former Math & Reading Intervention Teacher at Stone Mill Elementary School. I provide personalized tutoring for K-5 students in reading, writing, and math using research-based instruction aligned with MCPS curriculum standards, including Eureka Math and structured literacy approaches. I earned my degree and dual certification in Early Childhood & Elementary Education through Notre Dame of Maryland University with a 4. 0 GPA. My tutoring style is engaging, hands-on, and tailored to each child's individual learning needs, helping students build both skills and confidence. I offer one-on-one and small group tutoring, homework support, intervention services, enrichment, and summer learning programs in a welcoming home learning environment in the North Potomac/Stonebridge area.
