About Katherine

I am an elementary tutor based in the Bethesda area. I am a first grade teacher and I specialize in teaching foundational literacy and math skills. I am certified to teach grades Kindergarten-5th, in addition to special education students. I am also a current student in the graduate school of education at the University of Maryland. Through the graduate program, I am pursuing a Masters in Education and a certification as a reading specialist. I love making learning fun and engaging and helping my students understand the relevance and importance of their education. I like to help my students foster their own love and passion for learning.
