About River

Hello, I'm River (He/Him)! I am a childcare provider looking for a consistent nanny position during the school year! I bring 5 years of childcare experience, working with children of varying abilities between the ages of 2-14, particularly children on the spectrum , children with behavioral needs and developmental delays. Additionally I have tutored children on the spectrum (elementary middle and high school) and feel confident in my ability to carry out homeschool curriculum or assist with homework! I am currently in a masters program to become a school counselor and looking for a consistent job to do alongside school. My availability is pretty flexible for the right position! It's important to me to actively engage with the kids I work with, following their lead in play and going on adventures when appropriate. While I happily follow routines and believe in the power of a consistent schedule, I also want to make sure that the kids I work with have fun!
