My name is Samantha and I'm currently a student at SUNY Fredonia. I've always enjoyed working with kids and would love to find work opportunities in the area. When I was 18 I began working part time at a daycare. In the two years I was there, I worked with a variety of ages from infants to 5-year-olds. During the recent pandemic, I worked full time for a family with two kids. This included a 12-month-old and a 3-year-old with autism who I watched 6 hours a day for 3 months. In my free time, I enjoy making art and playing the piano as well as rollerblading. I find that my wide range of interests helps me in entertaining kids, whether that be playing tag or painting. I enjoy working with kids because of their curiosity and find joy in helping guide their experience of the world.
