About Rebecca

I have over 10 years of childcare experience in home and group settings and am seeking a full-time opportunity as my current family's situation has changed. My experience includes babysitting, meal preparation, bedtime routines, academic support, behavior management, and helping children develop social-emotional skills. I've also worked as a YMCA Summer Camp Counselor, teacher at Cedar Rapids Day School, foster care case manager, Mobile Crisis Response team member, and Residential Treatment Counselor supporting youth with emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. I also lived with my sister when she welcomed her first baby, providing hands-on daily support with infant care and routines. Now, I live with my sister and2-year-old niece again as she prepares to welcome her second baby. These experiences have strengthened my confidence in caring for children of different ages, including infants, while creating a safe, supportive home environment.
